Entrepreneurial Training for PhDs

April 18, 2017

Recently five researchers from LNG Futures took part in the Woodside OceanWorks sponsored Start Something program.   An initiative led by UWA’s Innovation Quarter the program allows researchers to work alongside industry mentors to develop and evaluate the commercialisation potential of their research.

LNG Futures joined researchers from the Offshore Hub and COFS in a ‘vertical accelerator’ specifically focused on oceans and engineering applications. Through six weekly workshops participants developed and applied a range of entrepreneurial skills and techniques.

Take a look at the Start Something video produced for the Woodside OceanWorks Start Something.
