Bruce Norris (2)

Research Fellow

Bruce is a Research Fellow with The UWA Faculty of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences. His research focuses on quantifying the risks associated with gas hydrates in subsea oil & gas developments by developing tools that couple hydrodynamic and hydrate models to predict both the severity and probability of hydrate formation. The goal throughout this research is to assist industry in optimising their operational and design philosophies as we move towards the use of longer and deeper subsea tiebacks. Bruce completed his PhD at UWA on Techniques for Quantifying Risk in Hydrate Forming Systems in 2019 under the supervision of Profs. Zachary Aman, Eric May and Mike Johns.
