Dr. Asheesh Kumar received his M.Tech. degree in 2010 and Ph.D. degree in 2016 at Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory (NCL), Pune, India, respectively. He continued his research at National University of Singapore as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with Prof. Praveen Linga, Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering Department (2016 to 2018). He was focused on solidified natural gas (SNG) technology project with an objective for off board large-scale storage of natural gas in the form of clathrate hydrates. He joined The University of Western Australia’s School of Mechanical & Chemical Engineering in August 2018 as a Research Associate with Prof. Zachary Aman. His research interests include gas hydrates, energy recovery, natural gas storage, CO2 capture and storage, CO2 sequestration, and flow assurance. Currently, two of his publications are listed as highly cited papers by essential science indicators of Thomson Reuters. He is a recipient of Best Research Scholars: NCL RF-Keerti Sangoram Memorial Endowment Award for the year 2016 given by National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India.
