Emanuel obtained his B.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry from the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel), Brazil, in 2019 and commenced his MPhil in Chemical Engineering at the University of Western Australia (UWA) in 2021. The research project is focused on investigate more efficient dewatering of digestate materials using novel low magnetic field 1D MRI technology for the quantitative optimisation of dewatering with respect to flocculation. The project aims to answer questions concerning poor dewatering scenarios routinely experienced by industry and favor circular economy applied to biowastes.
