Pengcheng YU joined the group after graduation to study the characterisation of multiphase fluids in the NMR subgroup with a degree of Master of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) from UWA in 2019.
PhD Title: Development of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Methodology for Novel Multi-phase Fluid Characterisation.
The research includes applying droplet size measuring technique in various emulsion systems and utilizing earth field’s NMR to characterize multiphase flow. The aim of the research is to extend the width and depth of application of NMR droplet size measuring technique in industry and develop the earth field’s NMR multiphase flowmeter for gas-rich flow in oil and gas industry.
