Razyq has completed a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Western Australia. His research work is focussed on characterising the microstucure dynamics of cemented paste backfill with a robust, non-invasive and mobile technique such as the low field nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) relaxometry measurements. Recently, cemented paste backfill technology has emerged to become a viable option in enhancing and altering the role of tailings in the minerals processing industry. Hence, it is essential to attain the evolution of the aforementioned parameters namely pore sizes, porosity and microstructure of cemented paste backfill samples as these significantly influence its mechanical property.
