PhD Candidate
Separations
Yang (Wendy) graduated with a Research Master of Chemical Engineering from Monash University, Australia in 2015. On completion of her Master degree, she worked as a research assistant at the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Soochow University, China. Now, as a PhD student in the Gas Separations subgroup, her research focusses on optimising and characterising trapdoor zeolites (adsorption capacity, kinetics, encapsulations and etc.). This work aims to discover the application of trapdoor zeolites in natural gas separation and potentially for the design of new industrial scale pressure-swing adsorption (PSA) processes.
