Mike Johns Awarded IChemE Fellow

This month FSR and LNG Futures Professor Michael Johns was accepted as a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE).  The status of ICHEME Fellow is awarded to engineering professionals of distinction who make a significant contribution to the Chemical Engineering profession.   Mike’s Fellow status is in recognition of his leading research specifically in the area of Magnetic Resonance Engineering, leadership and mentoring within the profession and expansion and development of the School of Chemical Engineering at UWA.

The Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) is the global professional membership organisation for chemical, biochemical and process engineers and other professionals involved in the chemical, process and bioprocess industries. It has a membership exceeding 44,000 members in over 120 countries.
